US Senator Hoeven Meets with Business Leaders in Fargo to Discuss the RAISE Program
On February 20, 2020, US Senator John Hoeven met with business leaders in Fargo, ND to discuss efforts to expand export opportunities for rural companies.
Senator Hoeven explained that “By working to expand the RAISE program in Fargo and establish a Rural Export Center, we’re going to give rural companies access to the best possible tools and information. That means a greater competitive edge, which dovetails with our efforts on securing better trade agreements.”
Dr. Joel Jorgenson of BWR Innovations in Fargo, ND serves as a board member of the District Export Council (DEC) and applauds the support of Senator Hoeven’s office. “The Senator is very interested in promoting technology in the state of ND as a business sector, ” Jorgenson said.
At this meeting, Senator John Hoeven highlighted the increased funding that he secured for the Rural America Intelligence Service for Exporters better known as the RAISE program.
The RAISE Program provides practical support to BWR Innovations as they work toward solidifying new business opportunities overseas.
